The past week or so the students have been working on life cycle projects in groups. Each group researched the creature, create a diagram on a poster, and taught the class about the life cycle.

Dear Class - I have enjoyed reading your blogs about the butterfly life cycle and I learned a lot from you. Today I enjoyed looking at your group life cycle project posters. I can tell you all have enjoyed learning about life cycles during the month of May.
School is almost out, but not quite, so be good for Mrs. McLendon and stay focused so you can still learn all that she has for you in the next few days. I know you have learned a lot this year as 2nd graders. Remember to read a lot this summer - you can go on exciting adventures just sitting under a shade tree and reading a good book!
Have a great summer,
Your Teacher's Mom
